Delete your account

How to delete your Chance account, and what gets deleted.

In the app

Open Chance and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Choose Delete account. The screen shows what will happen in each league you are in.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Without the app

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from your account's email address with your username. We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your account: username, name, email address, password (hashed), and the link to your Google or Apple account.
All your guesses, live changes and points, in every league.
Your league memberships. A league you manage passes to another member; a league where you are the only member is deleted.

What stays for a while

Database backups are kept for up to 30 days and then expire.
Error reports (Sentry) and server logs, which hold at most a user number, expire within 30 days.
